Hello and welcome to my Peter Pan (2003) Filmography Page where I wish to tell you what I think about the movie and Jeremy Sumpter as an actor in the lead roll. What can I not say about this movie. I am 37 years old and this movie made me think that I could fly. It has been such a long time since I have watched a movie that completely takes me away to another place where I can be free. I have never been so caught up in a movie since I used to watch the Six Million Dollar Man every week. If I missed any episode of that television show I went nuts.

I am here in Iraq serving my country in Baghdad and let me tell you there is not a night that goes by that I am not sitting down watching my favorite parts of Peter Pan. I love the ending where Wendy gives Peter his first real kiss. That is indeed my favorite part. I just wish they showed more of the kiss. Ahhh young love.

I also like the part where Tink dies and Peter starts going into his chant of "I believe in Fairies, I do, I do." and gets all the children as well as the adults with a little child inside of them to start chanting along with him and they all together, bring her back to life. This part shows me that he can act. The only problem is that my DVD is going bad in that one spot so I can't watch Tink come alive any more. Wow to just be able to start crying like that and show himself being upset when there is nothing wrong in the real world. That is just some wonderful talent there.

I wonder if he sits there and prepares himself for what ever scene he is getting ready to shoot? Does he have to start thinking of some thing sad to be able to cry like he does in so many parts of the movie? I wonder if he actually puts himself in the shoes of his character Peter Pan and acts on how he would actually feel if it were really him and not some character he is playing.

No doubt about it there is real tallent there. I could be an actress if I wanted to. I just don't know how to start being one. Pluss I am 37 years old so I am probably too old to start. I do look like Mel Gibson's Sister though. There is just a little difference in our jaw structure. Well enough of my ranting and raving about Peter Pan and Jeremy Sumpter, what do you all think?
